Prime Padel & Pickle Sanur: prices and hours

Prime Padel & Pickle is on the third floor of Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur, on Jalan Hang Tuah in the north of Sanur. It's small. Two padel courts and one pickleball court, roofed but open at the sides, which the hotel calls semi-outdoor.

Court hire is Rp 200,000 from 09:00 to 16:00 and Rp 250,000 from 16:00 until closing. The rate is per court, and it stays the same whether two or four of you play. Coaching costs Rp 550,000 an hour for one person, rising to Rp 1,200,000 for a group of four. You book on Playtomic and pay at reception before you go up.

After a match there's the Prime Padel Lounge for drinks and light food, plus a Rp 100,000 recovery pass for the sauna, hot jacuzzi and ice bath. The catch: two courts, and play stops at 21:00. Sanur Padel Club has three courts and plays later. Our Sanur padel guide covers the rest.

• Play before 16:00. Daytime court hire is Rp 50,000 cheaper than the evening rate.
• Start at the spa. Pick up a hand towel at Spa Reception, where the lockers and showers are, then take the lift to the third floor.
• Kit is for sale. Rackets are Rp 50,000 each per session, balls Rp 125,000 a can and overgrips Rp 30,000.
• Staying at the hotel? Book two nights or more on the hotel's own website and you get two hours of free court time, once per stay.
