Sanur Padel Club: courts, prices and booking

Three outdoor courts in a garden on Jalan Danau Poso, at the southern end of Sanur. The club's own photos show open-air courts under floodlights, with a café and shaded seating between them.

Pricing is per player: Rp 100,000 for 60 minutes or Rp 150,000 for 90. There's a catch. The club charges the full four-player rate even if only two of you turn up, so a 60-minute court costs Rp 400,000 regardless. Rackets rent for Rp 30,000, or Rp 60,000 for a premium one.

The club runs a full programme. Coaching is run by Evo Padel Academy, and MATCHi lists clinics, Americanos, King of the Court mornings and Play with the Coach sessions, mostly between Rp 185,000 and Rp 300,000 a head. There's also a ladies' day and a kids' academy.

• Book on MATCHi, not Playtomic. Courts and activities both run through the club's MATCHi page; you pay at reception before you start.
• Bring three friends. You pay for four players either way, so a 90-minute court is Rp 600,000 however many show up.
• Mind the 24-hour rule. Activities cancelled less than a day ahead are charged in full, and you have to settle that before booking again.
• Clinics include rackets. The 90-minute clinics at Rp 250,000–300,000 a person come with a racket, so there's no rental to add.
