TAO Padel Academy bills itself as a padel “super club”, and the facility list is long. It's at Jl. Raya Tebongkang No. 500 in Singakerta, south-west of central Ubud, with four full-panoramic courts under pro lighting.
Court time is priced per player: Rp 125,000 for an hour or Rp 175,000 for 90 minutes. That covers a rental racket and balls, plus the gym, pool, sauna and ice bath for the day. Four of you for an hour comes to Rp 500,000, which is more than a plain court elsewhere in Ubud. You're paying for the extras. If you only want to hit and leave, a plain court is cheaper down the road.
Coaching is the core. The Spanish-led team includes Carlos Martí, once ranked 60th in Premier Padel, with 90-minute team sessions and private lessons. There's also a Pilates reformer studio, a massage room, a café and a pro shop. Monkey Padel is a few hundred metres away if TAO is full. More clubs are in our Ubud padel guide.

Our tips
- Book on Playtomic. Courts and classes are listed under TAO Padel Academy. WhatsApp +62 813 3066 6326 also works.
- Leave the racket at home. Rental racket and balls come with every court booking.
- Make a day of it. Your court fee covers the gym and the recovery area with its pool and ice bath, so bring swimwear.
- Team training is the cheap way in. A 90-minute group session is Rp 500,000 per player, or Rp 4 million for ten. Private coaching starts at Rp 1 million.
