Sky Padel Kuta: rooftop court, prices and booking

Sky Padel is a single doubles court on the roof of Gracie Kelly's, the Irish pub inside Bali Dynasty Resort on Jalan Kartika Plaza. You don't need to be staying at the resort to play. It's open daily from 07:00 to 22:00.

Court hire is Rp 250,000 an hour between 10:00 and 15:00 and Rp 300,000 an hour otherwise. Rackets are Rp 40,000 each. Water and face towels come with the booking, and there are showers up on the roof.

Coaching is run on site. A private hour costs Rp 900,000, and a group lesson for four works out at Rp 300,000 each.

• Book on Playtomic. You pay up front; resort guests can also book through the Recreation Team or the tour desk.
• Play midday to save. 10:00 to 15:00 is Rp 50,000 an hour cheaper than the rest of the day, though it's also the hottest stretch on an open roof.
• Rain isn't your loss. If it's still raining 30 minutes before your slot, or starts in the first 30 minutes, you can cancel without penalty. Otherwise cancel 24 hours ahead for a full refund.
• Look after rented rackets. A broken one costs Rp 2,000,000 to replace, and an unreturned towel is Rp 50,000.
