If you're staying in Amed and want a game, this is it. Coral Padel calls itself the first and only padel club in Karangasem.
You'll find it on Jalan I Ketut Natih in Purwakerthi, Abang. There are two panoramic doubles courts. Both have a roof, which matters here between December and March, when the rain is heaviest. The club describes the setting as jungle views.
Off court there's a small café and snack bar, plus changing rooms with showers and lockers. Parking is free and you can rent rackets. Wi-Fi too.
The catch is scale. It's two courts, neither of them singles, and the club doesn't publish any coaching, leagues or open matches. Amed is also 2.5 to 3.5 hours by road from the airport, with a slow, hilly last stretch, so this is a court for people who are already staying on the coast, not a day trip from the south. For the south's bigger clubs, use our Bali padel guide.
Our tips
- Book on Playtomic. With only two courts, reserve before you drive over. Turning up on spec is a gamble.
- Prices are in the app. The club has no website with rates, so see Playtomic or message +62 877-9760-0050 on WhatsApp.
- Play early. The club opens at 07:00, which leaves the rest of the morning for a snorkel at Jemeluk.
- No racket needed. Equipment hire is listed, and there are showers to rinse off after.
